The DemCamp will be held at the headquarters of People's University of Rome, in Englefield scenic Palace (Via 4 Novembre 157) a short walk from Piazza Venezia, throughout the day Saturday, October 4 (from 9 to 19).
To BarCamp means a type of meeting characterized by the lack of a fixed lineup of speakers and in which there is no passive audience. The event participants have the possibility to propose a first-person presentation or a discussion topic, followed by a discussion with those present. The topics of discussion are generally selected on the basis of Barcamp before the interest aroused among the participants through this page. Interventions are free and can last 20 minutes jack. In any case there is a space for questions and discussion.
There are currently over 220 registered attendees, and many topics of discussion already proposed that in total, cover all areas of what we call "the crisis of non-democracy," Italian institutions from illegality of the lack of information, from environmental disasters to the suppression of minority rights, the debt to the patronage of local authorities, by the electoral law with the internal regulations of political parties.
